Judith Hendricks is a life-long resident of
Washington State and has lived and worked in Snohomish County for 35
years. She grew up in
Seattle Washington, graduating from Shorecrest High School. After being a wife and stay-at-home mother for
her children, Judith decided to go back to school.
For ten years, she worked her way through Everett Community College,
Central Washington University at Lynnwood campus (graduating from
both with honors) and then through University of Puget Sound Law
School (now Seattle University Law School). While in school, she was actively
raising her children and at times working two jobs.
In her second year of law school, on the day after Thanksgiving, Judith
started working for a local attorney in Snohomish County. Judith
would go to school Monday evening through Thursday evenings in
Tacoma and would then travel back to Everett where she would work
Fridays through Mondays with the local attorney.
Judith worked for this attorney for a short time but eventually ended up
working in politics in Washington D.C.,
as a congressional fellow for Congressman Tony Hall
Judith also opened her own Art Gallery and Espresso Bar
on Capitol Hill just a block and a half from Union Station on
Massachusetts Avenue and a block from Senate Hart Building.
During this time she also
ran political campaigns in Maryland.
After two years of living in D.C., Judith returned home and first
worked for the Family Support Division of Snohomish County where she
worked on Paternity and child support cases representing the State
of Washington. In 1998 She went into private practice and
worked as a guardian ad litem in both Title 11 guardianships and
Title 26 Family law cases.
For the past fifteen years, Judith has operated her own legal practice located just
one block north
of the Snohomish County Courthouse in the historical Central
building. Her practice's main focus is
Family law cases, but she also does work with landlord-tenant cases and unlawful detainers.
She has two grown children she adores and four
beautiful grand children who are the light of her life.
